In November 2013, MY Pacific was based in Auckland, New Zealand for general maintenance and repairs. While we docked, we engaged the services of Westferry Superyacht Services to undertake a full and comprehensive cleaning of our cushions, upholstery and carpets throughout the vessel.

As with many large boats of this nature, this type of clean presented Westferry with some interesting challenges such as the silk carpets throughout the owner’s quarters and wide variety of fabric blends on other surfaces.

Westferry were meticulous in following the manufacturer’s specifications according to the surface being cleaned.

This resulted in a very satisfactory outcome.
Westferry communicated well with the operations staff and replied promptly to queries. The fitted in with the timetable of maintenance and were available to carry out last minute cleaning jobs up until we left port. I can highly recommend Westferry for the interior cleaning of vessels such as the MY Pacific wouldn’t hesitate to use them again in the future.

To whom it may concern

POLAR STAR engaged with Westferry Superyacht Services via Marinelogix prior to reaching port in Auckland, NZ in September 2017. Westferry visited us on board our vessel, ascertained the scope of cleaning that was required and provided an indicative cost. We needed soft furnishing and carpets cleaned prior to us leaving port which presented a tight timeframe. Westferry completed the work within the allotted time, efficiently, on budget and to a high standard with minimum fuss allowing us to progress with other work and plans. When returning to Auckland port later in the summer, Westferry completed the second phase of work required in crew cabins and further soft furnishings both on deck and within the owners guest space along with a strip and polish of hard floors in the engineroom. Work was again carried out with minimal disruption to the crew and other maintenance work being carried out. Westferry’s flexibility was greatly appreciated.
I would not hesitate in recommending Westferry to carry out carpet, soft furnishing or hard floor maintenance to other vessels visiting Auckland.
